RackSense – Towards a Green Datacenter
RackSense by Vacus is an end-to-end solution for datacenter operation consisting a hardware, an analytics engine & a software. The solution help datacenters with three major challenges:

2. Monitoring & automating facility cooling infrastructure.

RackSense creates 3D view of the data center through which server KPIs can be monitored such as:

2. Real – time environment (temperature & humidity).
3. Real – time energy consumption.
RackSense analytics engine helps with:
1. cooling infrastructure automation based on real – time environment.
2. ghost server identification.
3. server positioning / repositioning suggestions for optimized cooling infrastructure utilization.
RackSense reduces per rack energy consumption by 10 – 15%. Currently datacenter consumes around 1% i.e. 205 tera-watt hours of world electricity. Thus helping an enterprise to achieve its green goal.
