Cloud Energy is a startup in the smart energy management industry that was founded in 2018 with the goal of becoming the most trusted partner of investors in the field of building LPWAN infrastructure, step by step implementing the goal of developing Smart City in Vietnam.
Pioneering in the application and development of new technologies, we bring comprehensive IoT solutions (including hardware and software) including and not limited to Smart Building, Smart Electricity-Water, Smart Solar, and other solution models, simplifying the implementation of IoT solutions that bring real value to businesses, helping to optimize operating costs and reduce energy loss in Vietnam in particular and in the Southeast Asia – Pacific region in general.
Our team is made up of 7 full-time employees and 4 freelancers, and we have accomplished a lot together.
Utilities generate a lot of data that enables them to monitor and react to peaks in demand. Besides this, it allows utility companies to take proactive action towards maintenance and improvements. For example, smart electricity meters provide insights on which appliances are utilizing how much energy. This is why we develop cloud-based utility management systems that utilize data from smart meters. Cloud Energy offers cloud-based municipal utility management. Working in the electricity and clean water sectors, the startup engineers internet of things (IoT) infrastructure and end–to–end solutions. Cloud Energy provides smart water meters, electric meters for municipal utility management, and solar management services. Furthermore, it designs a self-service digital customer portal that provides daily usage data and bill estimates.
Our foundational technology is LoRaWAN. With the advantage of long-range reception at a low cost and with low electromagnetic interference, we have tested it in Vietnam for more than two years with very positive results. In urban areas, each LoRaWAN gateway can capture waves up to 2km away. This distance can be increased if the gateway and equipment are located higher and the open environment is less obstructed.
LoRaWAN is used in over 170 countries worldwide, with over 208 million devices developed. And now, in Vietnam, we have Cloud Energy, a startup that is pioneering the use of LoRaWAN, bringing Vietnam up to speed with the other five continental powers. This is the kind of pride we should feel.
Cloud Energy will be an energy management solution for a smart city, in line with global and upcoming Vietnamese development trends. Cloud Energy’s goal is to develop products and solutions that provide more benefits to customers while also contributing to the construction of a smarter, greener, and cleaner city at a lower cost than other solutions. other. New technological solutions must be appropriate and reduce business burdens. To do so, we must always strive to be creative and find the best solutions. We have signed contracts with foreign partners, and we hope that in the near future Cloud Energy will bring these solutions to many countries around the world, as well as that many Vietnamese businesses will be aware of and accompany us.
