From 1979 to 2017: During 38 years of working in the oil and gas field, he held senior management positions at leading oil and gas service companies in the US, including: Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Weatherford International, Smith International and holds many patents, inventions and applications for global oil and gas exploration and production; in 1992, he was voted as Excellent Engineer by the International Petroleum Association.In Vietnam, he was the Director. operates Weatherford International Petroleum Services, Chief Technology Officer of Schlumberger Petroleum Group (with 24 member companies). From 2007 to 2008: He was a Technology Advisor at the US Department of Energy.
From 2017 until now, he is currently a Senior Advisor – Hoa Binh Construction Group Joint Stock Company.
